I’m a fifth year PhD candidate at EPFL, Switzerland, working under the supervision of Prof. Rachid Guerraoui. My research interests include concurrent programming and scaling software systems. My current focus is on the design of scalable synchronization techniques and data structures for multi and many-core processors. I received my MSc in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems from KTH, Sweden, in 2011 and my Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA, Greece, in 2008. In 2014, I was an intern at Oracle Labs in Cambridge, where I worked on the design of software tools for automatic optimization of concurrency on multi-core processors.
